What Is Harvard University’s Innovation Lab

The Harvard University Innovation Lab is a collaborative space for student entrepreneurs. The Lab was founded in 2012 by the Office of Undergraduate Advising and Financial Aid and the Office of Career Development. 

The Lab offers a supportive environment for student entrepreneurs, as well as resources and support from faculty and staff. What is Harvard's Accelerator Pitch Competition? 

The Accelerator Pitch Competition (APC) is a competition that invites student entrepreneurs to present their business ideas to a panel of judges. The competition serves to inspire innovation at Harvard and the greater Boston community. 

It also offers students the opportunity to gain valuable feedback from mentors, experts, and investors in the Boston area. In addition, the APC provides prizes for first-place finishers and special recognition awards for second place, third place, and honorable mentions.

What is Startup Weekend? 

Startup Weekend is an international event that encourages entrepreneurship through team-based design thinking sprints. Each weekend features two six-hour long sessions where participants come together with a small team of like-minded individuals to develop a business idea, prototype an innovation and build a product. 

Your application will be considered for one of three award categories:Community Engagement Award – This category recognizes organizations that have demonstrated a significant commitment to engaging the Boston community through their programs and publications. 

We value organizations that provide meaningful activities, partnerships, and resources to those in need in our community.The winner receives $15,000 in cash and prizes courtesy of Harvard Innovation Lab.
